mentawai people are living on Mentawai Islands, on west Sumatra
is possible they got Pulau Siberut passing by Pulau Nias, long time ago.
the islands split form Sumatra like 500000 years ago.
they receive people organized with guides that u can arrange on Bukkintiggi or directly there.
most of the locals are living on the modern way, but in the inner part is still present the mentawai life style.
is possible visit them and share daily life.
