one morning i went alone to the waterfall, was early in the morning, i just said to the guide that going there, without asking to many people
the day after i got sick, like high fever....
Mr Kookie, said":
' u went alone on the waterfall, yesterday, this is why you are sick today,
a bad spirit is on you, u got hat on the waterfall....'
and after that he made for me a cure from a lot kind of plants, flowers and roots...
i felt better after that.....
and i wanna say thanks to his man, even without knowing his age, usually not really understand each other for a language prob, but in spite of that he never lingered to show is friendly attitude to us......

is a kind of palm tree, they use to feed animals with that and use to produce flavor to eat , is the main part of their diet, every morning they go to collect on the jungle.
they don't farm, no vegetables, they just eat what they can get form the jungle naturally, plus the animals that they have...
they use to poison on the bows, arrows....is made by 4 elements: chilly, ginger, tuba, baglau

During the day trekking in the muddy jungle, the machete is so sharp
almost every day different house, different family, during the evening we share experience
the pigs live under the house, they chicken on the trees around, everybody eating Sago
they have no money, they arrange everything exchanging things
even the marriage is arranged by exchange of things, the man family has to buy the woman from her family.....
could be a big amount of chickens, pigs, machete, goodies...trees...
and if the man family decide to pay in 2 times....and they cannot do that the woman family can take bak the woman...
even after the marriage they cannot sleep together
talk about us, them, make jokes, magicians, try to teach and learn languages,
ask them about the world, about what they think, where they can reach by their knowledge, and receive answers like 'i cannot understand your question'
they also think that the man is coming form the monkey or something like that....the man was completely covered by hair, but he couldn't catch many animals while hunting
' one morning the man took off his skin and left it on the kitchen, after he went hunting. After while the wife woke up and found the skin, thinking was a monkey she cooked the skin...when the man came back from hunting he couldn't find his skin and asked to his wife, the skin was cooked and only the hair on the top were left ...so this is way the man get less hair and became like we are'
sleep in the noisy jungle is so pleasant, really noisy.....be woke up by the unexpected silence and after 1 second a earthquake shakes the ground for few seconds and when is finished slowly all the animals begin again to make their sounds is something unforgettable.....

they have a social organization and the Medicine Man is the leader ,
Medicine Man is the man that knows plants to get medicines, is the judge also, or the chairman of the village.
there 2 kind of medicine man junior and senior, and they also have a leader
they have tattoo's all around the body, they like clothes.....
everybody smokes, woman , man..heavily....

he saw the first white man on the harbor, dutch people, he was scared, he ran away in the jungle....
the religion is animism...
they speak mentawai language, there is no writing system....
